Jill Zarin (along with Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon) is not too upset about not being asked to return for a new season of ‘Real Housewives of New York City.’ Jill sat down with Parade.com to talk about her post-’Real Housewives’ plans.
Jill has no hard feelings about being let go from the show:
“I believe that what’s meant to be is meant to be, so I sort of let it happen. If they asked me back and that was my path, so be it. And if they said that they wanted to make a change for the cast and that was going to be my final season, I was certainly ok with that. I had a four-year run on a very successful show. And it’s just now starting to air in Europe. I get about 50 emails a day from the UK, Germany, Israel, and Australia — we’re all over the world. The show will continue (good or bad) to live on in reruns on Bravo and any other network.”
The end justifies the means:
“I’m very proud of what I did. It was just a platform for me. I’m grateful to Bravo for opening the door for me in this business that I never though I’d be in — the entertainment business. It won’t be the last time (I hope) that I’ll be on television. I have a couple things that I’m in the middle of that I can’t share yet.”
Will Jill star in her own show?
“I haven’t really thought about that to be honest with you. I don’t know if that’s the goal I have for my family — to be out there in such a way. It was ok for me and a little bit of my family here and there. That’s what was nice about sharing the show with five or six other women. I don’t know if I want to take on that responsibility at this point in my life.”
On the criticism that reality TV has gone too far:
“I just think that you’re always trying to top yourself. In television, it’s about what you can do to be more dramatic and keep the viewers. I do think it gets to a point where some of the fans say, ‘I’ve had enough.’ I think that’s one of the reasons why they changed the cast on New York. But I certainly hope it continues to be successful.”

pssst: she has some cash now and will vannish!!
The three of them are boring. If you take Ramona off then the show would be boring for real.
If she expects people to believe that she wasn’t upset, she is delusional. Everyone knows she is a famewhore – just look at her tweeting “REAL CELEBRITIES” to try to get them to notice her. LOL. I can just see some of these people thinking “Who is Jill Zarin and why is she tweeting me like we know one another”. No one cares about Jill. See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya”.
