Fact Or Fiction: Are Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez Gearing Up For A Custody Battle?

If what Us Weekly reports is true, then the answer would have to be Fact. “Sources” claim to Us Weekly that Marc Anthony is so upset over Jennifer Lopez’s romance with backup dancer Casper Smart that he wants to change their custody agreement.
It all supposedly started when Marc saw pictures of Casper playing with Max and Emme over Thanksgiving weekend. A sources says Marc “hit the roof. It caused a huge blowup.” So Marc is said to want to retaliate by “going back on his word and saying his wants joint custody.”
“He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she’s having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her on the deepest level.”
Well, someone close to Jennifer say the actress/singer is “ready to smash him if he tries anything…It’s getting vicious.”
Maybe it’s just that I really, really HOPE it’s false that people would use their kids this way, although I know it happens.

What I don’t understand is why they wouldn’t have joint custody. If both parents are willing and able to play an equal part in their kids life why shouldn’t they be afforded that opportunity? It is not always that mother knows best. It is selfish.
