Rihanna may have spent New Year’s in Miami while Katy Perry reportedly laid low in LA (she must not have left her house!), but the BFFs are said to have texted each other “non-stop” over the weekend as Rihanna consoled Katy over the end of her marriage.

“They are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head,” the source said.

At times like these, you understand how truly important friends are! I still feel sad about the end of this marriage: Katy and Russell just seemed so well-suited for each other.
