Snoop Dogg was arrested for marijuana in west Texas over the weekend. Interestingly, in the same town that Willie Nelson was popped for the same thing back in 2010! TMZ reports that the weed, under a half ounce, was discovered in his tour bus at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
Snoop admitted that the drugs were his, reportedly. He has a prescription for marijuana in California, but Texas has a zero tolerance policy for the drug.
Snoop was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession and released. If convicted on the drug charge, Snoop could face up to 180 days in jail.
Wonder what the execs of his new family sitcom will think of this one? I’m sure they knew something like this was possible when Snoop is involved, right?
