Quote Of The Day: Elton John’s Husband, David Furnish, On Madonna’s Golden Globes Win
Posted on January 16, 2012 at 2:30 PM
As those of you who watched the Golden Globes last night know, Madonna won an award for Best Original Song for ‘W.E.’ David Furnish, Elton John’s husband who was also nominated in that category, was NOT happy.
According to Us Weekly, here’s what David posted on his Facebook page after his loss:
“Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.”
I think he’s referring to comments Madonna made in her ’20/20′ interview. Looks like a couple of celebrity feuds are brewing…

What a complete hypercrite…..
Completely agree with him, especially the part about how narcissistic she was while accepting that award. Any idea how many times she said “my film” in her speech? Sure, it was the movie she directed, but it was pathetic how many times she had to remind everyone. She sounded like those seagulls in Finding Nemo … “Mine, mine, mine, mine.” Get over yourself, Madge.
