Taylor Swift Opens Up About “Earth Shattering, Crash-And-Burn Heartbreak”

Taylor Swift is getting ready to release a new album! And like her previous albums, she’s used her personal heartbreaks for musical inspiration. She says Christmas 2010 (when she was rumored to be dating Jake Gyllenhaal) was a rough time.
“I’m not sad and I’m not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that. I am not gonna go into it! It’s a sad story!
“There’s just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about.”
By now the guys who date Taylor shouldn’t be surprised! She says writing music about her feelings is “only way to pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone.” We all have our coping strategies ;) . Are you looking forward to Taylor’s new album?
