Kris Jenner’s Demands Derail Plans For Kardashian Magazine

Posted on January 19, 2012 at 11:15 AM

Remember when we told you the Kardashians were planning to launch their own magazine? Those plans have been derailed, reportedly due to momager Kris Jenner’s demands.

Kris wanted approval for all stories related to the Kardashians in all American Media Inc (AMI) publications, which include magazines such as Shape, Star, National Enquirer, and Radar Online, according to the New York Post.

“AMI chief David Pecker made it clear that there was no way he was going to tell his editors what stories they could and couldn’t do.”

In retaliation, Kris reportedly pulled all advertisements related to the Kardashians from Star Magazine. Kris’ spokesperson, however, denied this story but said she is unhappy about the recent stories questioning Khloe Kardashian’s paternity.

“Kris has never had a conversation with AMI regarding this issue [of her demands]. But, the allegations contained in the Star article about Khloe not being a Kardashian are completely fabricated, false and untrue. Robert Kardashian is absolutely her biological father, so of course she was upset over their story.”

Well, for those of you who fall into the No More Kardashian camp, the word that the magazine has fallen through probably makes you happy. And for you Kardashian fans out there, the Barbie doll plans are still underway ;) .

  1. Kris pulled the ads because of bad publicity? or because no one wants to buy any Kardashian krap? It so funny she wanted approval of all articles really? Who does that?
