Although there’s no question that the debut of America’s X-Factor was a smash success, it seems that the show will be making some BIG changes for the upcoming season! While judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Nicole Scherzinger are all expected to return, host Steve Jones is not.

As reported by People.com, the British stud won’t be back for season two. Though no specific reason was given for his departure, Steve took to Twitter to confirm the news to his fans.

“I wont be hosting next seasons XFactor which is a shame but I cant complain as I’ve had a great time,” tweeted Steve on Jan. 30. “Good luck to everyone on the show.”

Even though the series isn’t slated to return until the fall, I wonder if Simon will speak out about Steve getting the boot before then. Or at least drop a hint of who the replacement host might be. Only time will tell!
