Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres spent some time this afternoon touring around the lower 9th Ward in New Orleans.  Brad is checking up on (and filming some footage for) his “Make It Right” project.

Tomorrow night Ellen will host “A Night to Make It Right”, a gala that will raise money to help complete nearly 150 homes for families in the area.

It’s nice to see that Brad is sticking with the project all of the way through to the end.  Not that he just slapped his name on it and did a few photo ops.  It seems that he has worked hard on it over the years.

Nicole Richie brought a bit of sunshine with her to The Grove this afternoon.  Nicole was filming an interview with Mario Lopez for ‘Extra‘ – promoting her new show ‘Fashion Star‘.  Nicole hung out after the taping to take photos and sign autographs for fans.

I love this dress! It’s like a perfect transition dress from winter to spring.  BRING ON SPRING!  I’m so ready for the wardrobe, the weather, all of it!

Shia LaBeouf stopped off in Studio City to grab some coffee earlier today.  Shia debuted this new scruffy look, but I think I prefer him clean cut or with a minimal amount of facial hair.

I was cruising his iMDb page and see that he just completed two movies that might have something to do with the beard and longer hair.  It’s also possible that Shia just felt like growing it out for no reason at all.

During an interview with ELLE UK, ‘Friends with Kids‘ star Jon Hamm slammed reality starlets Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.

“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—–g idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”

Ouch.  I’m sure Kim will be responding to Jon’s comment via Twitter any minute now…..

It looks like this was the best kept secret on the Shore! Deena Cortese reveals that her pal, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi hid her pregnancy from her Jersey Shore pals and that Deena didn’t even know about it until it was officially announced!

“I actually just found out when everybody else did. That’s when she decided to tell everyone,” Deena, 25, said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Friday. “I think she was waiting because it’s bad luck.”

Deena recently Tweeted her excitement about Snooki’s pregnancy and wrote that she couldn’t wait for her “little meatball to start running around!”

Actor Brad Pitt stopped by a house in the Lower Ninth Ward that his charity project Make it Right helped build in New Orleans, La. today.

The father-of-six was dressed in his family’s signature color, black with grey pants (the lighter black) and was sporting that hideous-looking goatee that brought down his hotness factor a notch a few years ago.

While I love the charitable, committed father Brad that we’ve been seeing, I so miss his look from his Fight Club days. I might be alone in this, but I think Brad could totally pull off the blonde-peroxide look again even though he’s close to turning 50.
