Posted on March 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Jessica Simpson has A LOT to be excited about these days. Not only is Fashion Star set to debut on NBC tonight, BUT she’s got a baby girl on the way! The multi-talented mama-to-be dished to talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres about her pregnancy and more!
Jessica on her due date:
Ellen: When are you due?
Jessica: I have some weeks.
Ellen: No you don’t.
Jessica: I really do. It’s not like tomorrow.
Ellen: It looks like it’s tomorrow.
Jessica: I had contractions last night and I freaked out a little bit. You know those Braxton Hicks things…
Ellen: What is that?
Jessica: It’s like these contractions that pregnant women have towards the end. It prepares your body for delivery. I’m prepared. It’s scary. It’s like oh god, this can happen right now.
Ellen: It just gives you a little taste of how much it could hurt.
Jessica: It will. It will hurt very badly.
Jessica on baby names:
Ellen: Have you picked out the baby’s name yet?
Jessica: I have but we’re not really saying it until the baby’s here.
Ellen: Of course, I know people say they have but you can’t really know until your meet the baby.
Jessica: We’ve been calling her by her name.
Ellen: Oh, you have.
Jessica: She reacts to it. I could be one of those psycho mom’s that just thinks one little kick… is her really listening to me. She’s really like, shut up.

Jessica looks beautiful for being so far along about 34 weeks and think about it she’s said her daughter is predicted to be 10lbs at birth
34 weeks? Is that all???? I am 34 weeks and not nearly remotely as big despite baby measuring large for dates. Sister in law is 37 weeks and shorter/rounder build and she isn’t nearly this big either and she also has a big baby on the way. I know everyone is different but wow, I would be seriously uncomfortable being as big as she is right now.
I think she is adorable! So human and down to Earth. Cool chicka for sure.
Looks like gestational diabetes to me.
Ellen gets everyone to talk to her. Fun.
comment is acting as an entry to the visa contest
The look on Ellen’s face says it all. She looks repulsive. Since when is it considered “baby weight gain” when the fat starts creeping up your back and shoulders? This completely talentless slob is just plain fat.
