And here I was thinking that we might be seeing Britney Spears on the small screen, but it looks like Simon Cowell has plans for another blonde bombshell instead. Rumor has it that George Clooney’s current girlfriend, Stacy Keibler might be joining the judging panel at “The X Factor.”

According to the New York Post, a source says:

“Stacy is in talks to join the show, but her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host.”

“She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”

We’re not sure what’s going on here – is Simon trying to throw us off by secretly bringing on Britney while we’re all wondering why Stacy is even being considered for the show, or did negotiations fall out between “The X Factor” and our favorite pop princess?

While Stacy was great during her stint on Dancing with the Stars, I’m really not sure how she would do on “The X Factor” given the fact that she has no music background. Looking good is one thing, but knowing what to say is another! What are your thoughts?
