Hot New Trailer: Stephenie Meyer’s ‘The Host’ (VIDEO)

Have you read ‘The Host‘ – Stephenie Meyer’s sci fi thriller about a group of souls that inhabit humans? I read it a few years back and the movie version isn’t set to hit theatres until next year, but Open Road Films released a teaser trailer today.
Saoirse Ronan stars as the lead character, Melanie Stryder in the film and can be seen in the closing of the teaser trailer.
I must admit – I’m not a fan of this teaser trailer and I actually liked the book. Saoirse is not what I had pictured as Melanie. What do you think?

Its such as you read my mind! You appear to grasp a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e-book in it or something. HOW ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE THIS A MOVIE?!? I read and loved the book but the whole thing is an inner dialogue (sp?) between the human girl and the alien inhabiting the girl’s body ya know. How are they going to portray that on camera???
