Sofia Vergara Hosted ‘SNL’ (Video)

Did you catch Sofia Vergara on ‘Saturday Night Live’ last Saturday? She was the celebrity guest host and is getting good reviews for her performance on the show.
I’m not sure why people are so surprised: she is starring in one of the funniest shows on TV right now, ‘Modern Family’! Yet performing live means there are no multiple takes and editors to make you look even better. As Sofia herself said, if she only had her looks, she’d have been “long gone” from the Hollywood scene. What do you think of her opening monologue?

I thought her monologue was great! My favorite skit was the Pantene Commercial, though. Her accent is what makes her so funny. I watched it on DISH Online since I wasn’t able to see it when it aired. I was on a flight home from Florida. The other day while I was at DISH where I work, many of my co-workers were telling me that they thought that her accent was going to mess up the show. Since I watch her in Modern Family, I didn’t think she would be bad at all, and I’m glad that I was right!
