I know that rumors about a romantic relationship blossoming between former co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were denied by Mila’s rep, but People’s story makes me wonder. Ashton and Kutcher reportedly spent a three-day weekend together in the  coastal town of Carpinteria, California.

… the pair were spotted grabbing a quiet sushi lunch for two [on Friday]. Later that day, Kutcher looked on while Kunis bought sunflowers and blueberries at a roadside fruit stand. They weren’t spotted out on Saturday but made a coffee run the next day before driving back to L.A…

Neither Ashton’s nor Mila’s rep would comment on the story, but someone “close” to Ashton told People:

“He was so in love with her for a while when they worked together. He thought she was a goddess, was always talking about how beautiful she is. But she was with Macaulay [Culkin] for a lot of that time and also just generally gave off a not interested vibe. It never happened, but I’m not surprised by this – at all.”

However, another person who also claims to be close to Ashton had something different to say.

“He always talked about Mila like a little sister. They’re definitely close pals and have been. I think if anything she’s a good time for him. But he’s not looking for anything serious.”

To me this sounds like Ashton and Mila are more than just friends. Maybe they’re at their early stage where they’re exploring the possibility of being more than friends?
