Jessica Simpson Wants A ‘Bohemian’ Nursery For Baby Maxwell

Now that daughterMaxwell Drew is home from the hospital, proud parentsJessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are already hard at work planning their little girl’s nursery. And according to Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic Couture, the couple have a “gypsy” theme in mind for their little one’s room.
“Jessica is very pretty and feminine, but she didn’t want this to be over-the-top frilly,” Rachel told People Magazine. “The words she used were ‘gypsy’ and ‘bohemian,’ so we brought in lavenders and mauves with a bit of pink and aqua.”
Even though the “bohemian” theme may seem more like Jessica’s idea rather than Eric’s, Rachel further reveals that it was very much a “collaborative vision.”
“They were probably the most un-neurotic people I’ve ever known. Jessica wanted [the nursery] be cosy and cute, and she was very respectful of Eric, asking, ‘Do you like this?’ And he was nicely opinionated,” said Rachel. “I found being around them very inspiring to think, ‘Wow, [this is] a real collaborative vision.’”
This nursery sounds like it’s going to be a beautiful bohemian dream. I really hope Jessshares a few pics of it with her fans. I’d love to see what it looks like!
