This has been a BIG week for Mark Zuckerberg! He became a billionaire when the Facebook IPO hit the stock market on Friday, and the very next day he married his girlfriend of nine years, Priscilla Chan. (I don’t have rights to the picture, but you can see it here.)

The two surprised everyone, I’m guessing, when their guests came to what they thought was a surprised party for Priscilla, who graduated from UCSF Medical School on May 14. It turned out to be a wedding (Priscilla was in on the wedding planning, so she knew). Mark reportedly designed Priscilla’s ruby ring himself.

After exchanging vows, dinner was served family-style with food from Mark and Priscilla’s favorite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. For dessert, they had Burdick chocolate “mice” (which the couple had on their first date- that’s sweet) rather than a traditional wedding cake. Those are smart strategies to keep the wedding quiet: restaurant catering and no cake. Congratulations to Mark and Priscilla!
