When it comes to Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, these two have always battled it out on the music charts, but now, they’re going to head-to-head with their singing reality shows AND their paychecks.

According to TMZ, before Britney signed on the dotted line to judge the second season of The X-Factor, she had a special request— to make more money than J.Lo! Though Brit eventually settled on a $15 million payday ($3 million more than what Jennifer made on her first season of Idol), sources say that the singer originally wanted a sum close to $20 million. And just who is responsible for making Britney’s ”big bucks dream” come true? Creator and executive producer Simon Cowell, that’s who!

“Simon Cowell is a smart and shrewd businessman who knew Britney could make his show and he was willing to give her just about anything to come on board – and he did,” said a source.

With rumors swirling that Jennifer may leave Idol if she doesn’t get a pay raise, it looks like Britney’s X-Factor deal has something to do with it.

Despite the non-stop divorce rumors, Bethenny Frankel seemed to be in a good mood as she hung out with her family in Malibu on Sunday afternoon. While hubby Jason Hoppy walked their precious pooch, the Skinnygirl kept close to daughter Bryn.

After watching the last few episodes of Bethenny Ever After, there’s no doubt that there’s been tension between Bethenny and Jason. But after seeing these pics of the pair with their little girl, I hope that the two have moved past their rough patch and are looking ahead towards their future.

With the fifth season of their smash HBO series set to premiere this summer, as well as a baby on the way, Anna and Stephen have so much to be excited about!

Is Zac Efron changing careers?! Not exactly, but he did act like a photog during the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend. On May 27, The Paperboy actor snapped some pics of the prying paparazzi from the balcony of Eden Roc.

Once Zac finished up with the paps, he continued to have some fun with his camera and took a few photos of fellow partygoers.

Well, if Zac’s life on the big screen doesn’t work out (which I highly doubt), he can always fall back on photography.

While some celebs hit the beach or relaxed on Memorial Day, country cutie Taylor Swift was hard at work. On Monday afternoon, the “Safe & Sound” songstress was spotted heading into a Santa Monica recording studio.

Sporting a crisp button up and polka-dotted slacks, Taylor topped off her casual ensemble with a pair of red ballet flats and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Not only did the Billboard Music Award winner record some new tunes, but she did so in style too!

Now this looked like one fun way to spend Memorial Day! On May 28, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale took a trip to the beach with their boys. While sons Kingston and Zuma played in the sand, the couple sat back and relaxed at Joel Silver’s beachside bash nearby.

Later in the day, Gwen and Gavin got closer to the water as they watched Kingston have some fun in the sun. Mom Gwen even got to spend some quality time with her mini style star.

Just another afternoon outing for the adorable Stefani/Rossdale family!
