If Us Weekly’s story is true, then it sounds like the stress of taping a reality TV show may be too much for Britney Spears. An insider claims she’s off to a “rocky start” as a judge on ‘X Factor.’

“Doing X Factor may lead her back into meltdown territory. She gets extremely nervous and anxious. She’s hard on herself and not very confident.”

Apparently, all change is stressful for Britney (as it is for most people), but she seems to have a more difficult time handling it. Even things like her engagement to Jason Trawick can put her on edge.

“For her, it’s all an input as stress. This is a lot of change at once for Britney. She’s coming undone.”

Yet another source says the people around Britney (remember, she’s still under a conservatorship) wouldn’t let her be a judge on ‘X Factor’ if it was too much.

“Jason and Britney’s family wouldn’t let her do X Factor if she couldn’t handle it. At first they weren’t going to let her because she couldn’t do live TV — they didn’t know what she would say. But they went over it with Britney, and they trust her.”

 

Hopefully Britney can handle this and is up for the challenge. I’d imagine the tapings may not be so bad, but when the show starts airing live, that’s another story.
