All Hail the Queen of Twitter! Lady Gaga hit 25 million twitter followers last night. Twenty-five MILLION. I can’t even wrap my brain around that! Lady Gaga acknowledged the milestone with this tweet:

‪#25milliontweetymonsters‬ wow! I’m officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today. Last sold out show in Singapore in 2 hrs!

I’m guessing her own social network will be a success, even if Madonna is unlikely to be one of the members.

Matthew McConaughey is moving beyond the rom-com roles that we know (and love) him so well in, he explained to USA Today. He plays a promiscuous, “self-loathing” gay journalist in ‘The Paperboy,’ a fugitive in ‘Mud,’ a hit man in ‘Killer Joe,’ and a stripper in ‘Magic Mike.’

“[The roles] have some good shock value to them. The one thing I insisted on (with Daniels) [for 'The Paperboy'] was it had to be more than shock. Because when you cast me for this part, there is going to be an inherent shock value. ['Killer Joe' is]  a wild ride of a movie.”

And while he has nude scenes in both ‘The Paperboy’ and ‘Magic Mike,’ Matthew admits the nudity looks, well, prettier in ‘Magic Mike’ than in the gritty ‘The Paperboy.’

“You wanna see a guy get in shape, tell him his (butt) is going to be 40-foot-high on a screen,” McConaughey says, laughing. “It’s me doing everything with the spray tans and all. It’s going to be a hoot. It’s pretty good and cheesy.”

I just hope we get to see Matthew in all these roles! Neither ‘The Paperboy’ nor ‘Mud’ have release dates in the United States yet, and ‘Killer Joe’ is only scheduled for a limited release. Otherwise, I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out on Netflix. Do you like the idea of Matthew shaking things up, acting-wise, or are you happy to see him stick with the romantic comedies?

Bieber fever is alive and well: much to the chagrin of Oslo, Norway officials! ‘Boyfriend’ singer Justin Bieber held a concert in the city that led to such chaos when his preteen/teenage fans hit the city that 49 teens were injured (and 14 had to be taken to the ER, but luckily there were no serious injuries). The mayor of Oslo said:

“I have already called on the Emergency Planning Agency to examine the entire event from the planning stage to its implementation. We have to find out what went wrong and why it happened.”

There were so many teenage girls flooding the streets, the mayor said he had to hide behind a tree to avoid getting trampled. CRAZY! These pictures are of Justin arriving in Paris. Something tells me that while the Oslo teens may be sad to see him go, the officials probably aren’t too upset- LOL. Check out this video of the chaos in Oslo:

At least, Us Weekly claims Drew Barrymore was leaving her final fitting for her wedding dress when the paparazzi snapped her picture leaving the Chanel store in Beverly Hills. Her BFF Cameron Diaz came along, as did fiance Will Kopelman. An insider says:

“Drew has been leaning on Cameron a lot. Cameron has been very involved.”

Cameron even told UK’s InStyle that Will told her about his plans to propose, so she knew Drew was about to become engaged before Drew did! Us Weekly reports that Drew and Will plan to tie the knot this weekend. A source claims:

“Drew wants to get married before the baby comes, but doesn’t want to be huge.”

Something tells me this couple will do everything they can to keep things as private as possible, but I hope they at least release a picture of Drew in her wedding dress. Exciting!

Now that Jessica Simpson has delivered Maxwell Drew (who weighed in at 9 lbs, 13 oz when she was born), she is focusing on getting her body back in shape. She told People:

“I think anybody who’s gone through a pregnancy, after they have the baby, it’s like, ‘I need to do something about this.’ For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past, I’ve been known to yo-yo diet.”

And it looks like those Weight Watchers rumors were true (at least that she’s doing the program), based on Jessica’s tweet from last night:

So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!

Jessica said she’d been planning to do Weight Watchers before she found out she was pregnant, but once she got the news, she stopped the program.

“I was like, ‘I’m going to enjoy my pregnancy,’ and I did. I ate very healthy, but I did indulge some of my cravings – and that’s okay because I know I can work it off now.”

Jessica said that she doesn’t have a goal weight: she just wants to “feel normal and fixate on inches.” She plans on achieving small goals: smart girl. But goodness, Jessica, give yourself some time! She doesn’t have much choice: Jessica also admitted to People that she hasn’t been cleared by her doctor to exercise yet.
