TMZ reports that Lindsay told the police her assistant was driving. However, her assistant says Lindsay was driving. Several witnesses claim Lindsay climbed over the console and exited the Porsche from the passenger side after the crash, which suggests she was planning to lie all along.
Radar Online reports that police want to conduct a follow-up interview with Lindsay and that it’s likely she’ll be cited for speeding and be named as the sole cause of the accident. Speeding and rear-ending another vehicle aren’t crimes, so why lie? Maybe because part of her contract for ‘Liz & Dick’ stipulated that she was NOT supposed to be driving. Oh boy.
