Blake Lively has been making the publicity rounds this week to promote her upcoming movie ‘Savages‘ and she has been a vision every time we’ve seen her. Today was no different as Blake left her NYC hotel wearing a beautiful royal blue strapless dress with comfy yet stylish flats.

I really love Blake’s necklace here too! Now that is a statement piece! Are you planning on checking out Savages in the theatres? I just finished reading the book and I really liked so I think this is one movie I would definitely like to see.

I think that most of the public noted how much Katie Holmes changed during her marriage to Tom Cruise, but I’m sure her parents noted the change the most. Now that Katie has filed for divorce from Tom sources are claiming that Katie’s parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes are happy to have the ‘old Katie‘ back.

According to RadarOnline.com, a source close to the family said that;

“Obviously, Martin and Kathleen are sad that Katie is having to go through all this emotional turmoil and that she is going to be a single parent, but it’s not like she is going to have to go it alone and she certainly won’t have any financial hardship to worry about.

“Both Martin and Kathleen had very strong reservations about Katie marrying Tom, but she was an adult and they obviously couldn’t stop her from following her heart. It’s been tough for them over the past five years to watch Katie be controlled by Tom and they really felt that they had lost their daughter to some extent.

“So, that’s the one bright side to the divorce — they feel like they’re getting the old Katie back again, the strong, independent willful Katie that had all but disappeared since marrying Tom.”

I have a feeling that this divorce is going to get very messy, fortunately Katie has a very supportive family to lean on.

Miley Cyrus definitely takes her fitness seriously. The actress, who recently attended the Australian in Film Awards & Benefit Dinner with her Aussie fiancé Liam Hemsworth was spotted leaving her pilates studio with a friend earlier today.

Clearly Pilates is working for Miley as she shows off her perfectly toned abs. Although I’m sure there’s good reason for Miley to be taking her fitness pretty seriously. She does have a wedding to plan and I’m sure she wants to look her absolute best in her wedding gown. I’m sure she’ll make a gorgeous bride!

Well the Katie Holmes/Tom Cruise divorce is certainly causing a lot of buzz on the internet today so of course there are going to be countless ‘sources’ coming out of the woodwork claiming they know the real reason why Katie filed for divorce.

RadarOnline quotes a source as saying the reason for the filing was because Katie found that she had changed ‘so much’ over the last five years and that she;

‘felt like she was going crazy and that she was actually turning into the robot that the press had always made her out to be. Katie has actually got a great personality and she used to be spunky and feisty. She changed so much when she was with Tom, she became downtrodden and insipid.

“In the end it just got too much, she was sick of it and decided she had to do something. Basically, she grew up and lost the starstruck goggles she had been wearing.”

“Katie did not want Tom making all the decisions in Suri’s life, and that’s what was going on. She decided it was high time she started deciding on what was best for her daughter, or at least having an equal say, and she knew that would be impossible if she remained Mrs. Tom Cruise.”

I just hope that for the sake of Suri they’re able to keep things civil between them. Sounds like Katie won’t be giving up too much control over Suri if she can help it.

Amidst reports that his father, Tom Cruise is about to get into a messy divorce proceeding with his soon-to-be ex-wife Katie Holmes, son Conner Cruise was spotted boarding a helicopter in Rejkjavik, Iceland. Connor visited his father Tomm who is currently in the capital city filming his new movie.

While there’s no doubt the news is taking a toll on just about everyone, let’s hope the divorce is going to be a peaceful and quiet one for Katie and Tom. We’d hate to have all of their dirty laundry aired out to the public. What do you think?
