Breaking: Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Are Divorcing After 5 Years Of Marriage

This might or might not surprise you. But either way, it’s heartbreaking news. After five years of marriage, Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are calling it quits. Katie’s lawyers released an official statement via People Magazine stating:
“This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family,” says Holmes’s attorney Jonathan Wolfe. “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”
So it looks like Katie is the one calling it quits on their family. We can’t help but notice that it’s been a long time since the two have been photographed together in a very long time. I wonder if Katie’s disdain for Scientology was part of the reason why she wanted to end her marriage. What do you think?

It was clear she was unhappy…you could tell by the way she dressed these days and didn’t take care of herself, but I honestly thought that the marriage would last longer.
Interesting that reports are coming out that she wants sole custody of Suri and that Tom was blindsided by this. Or is that all publicity so that Tom comes off looking better? Who knows….
Im sorry but who is actually suprised by this? I think he’s going to go hard after getting sole custody, just like with his kids with Nicole K. I never understood this couple, age difference, religious difference, beliefs and values difference, theyre too dissimilar and theres a part of me thats always wondered if she really was under ”contract’ 5 years is such an interesting number. I hope she’s got a good lawyer, cos he’s got the money and influence to make her life miserable
Hmmm… they were walking around here in Reykjavik, Iceland just last week and were holding hands!
