Katie Holmes Reportedly Getting “Virtually Nothing” From Her Divorce

Katie Holmes may not be rolling in the dough once her divorce with Tom Cruise is finalized. Despite reports that the actress was set to make $3 million for each year they were married, their prenup may say otherwise. But as TMZ is reporting, Katie isn’t concerned about the money.
“She’s not about the money. She’s not that girl,” a source told TMZ.com. “She loves to work. Money is not important to her. She makes plenty on her own.”
Though Katie will walk away with the money that she brought into the marriage, because she filed for sole custody of Suri, Tom may have to shell out a bit more for child support. But while the legalities of their impending divorce have yet to be hashed out, rumors continue to swirl as to what let to TomKat’s demise. As we previously reported, Katie did not want to ship her daughter off to Scientology’s Sea Organization.
“In the end we’re told Katie felt the only way to prevent Suri from joining the Sea Org ship was to file for divorce and seek sole legal custody,” a source told TMZ.
Something tells me that this divorce is about to get a whole lot messier!
