Tom Cruise Is Planning His Next Move

First, Tom Cruise’s longtime lawyer, Bert Fields, said he hoped Tom and Katie Holme’s divorce wouldn’t be “contentious.” Now it sounds like they’re in full-on planning mode with Tom hunkered down in California. When asked if Tom planning to fight for custody of Suri, Bert said:
“Tactically we can’t say where Tom will file a divorce case and if he’ll be seeking joint custody of Suri. We are letting the other side play the media until they wear everyone out and then we’ll have something to say. It’s not Tom’s style to do this publicly. He is really sad about what’s happening.”
The part about “letting the other side play the media” and waiting before they say anything gives me the distinct impression they are regrouping. Tom’s been a movie star for a long time: he has quite a machine in place, I’m sure. When they start talking, I’m guessing things will get even uglier.
Meanwhile, reports are that Tom “begged” Katie to come to Iceland for his birthday.
“He begged her to go to Iceland for one last try at reconciliation. She refused and a huge fight ensued.”
If that’s true, then it doesn’t seem like Tom would’ve been as surprised as many of the reports indicate, does it? Something tells me this is going to play out for a long time.

cruise has already lost this battle. he is getting reamed in the press, and we all think he is CRAZY! the best he can do is to give katie what she wants. otherwise he will look like even more of a d-bag.
