I hope Katy Perry and Robert Ackroyd had this conversation before Katy gave this interview! The ‘Part of Me‘ star made it clear that she and the Floyd + The Machine guitarist are not in a serious relationship. Katy explained to USA Today:

“That’s not even appropriate to label. There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it’s not really appropriate to have anything serious. I have a second chance on life. To get maybe a better situation. For me, right now, I’m totally not looking. I’m just looking to heal. And I’m on that path. I’m not down on love.”

Well, I think that’s a smart attitude for Katy to have. She’s been through a whirlwind couple of years: she and Russell Brand hadn’t been dating for too long when they got engaged, planned and had that big wedding in India, and then the marriage was over within 14 months. Just letting things settle for a bit is probably for the best!
