Well this could definitely be interesting! Rumour has it that American Idol is considering bringing on past contestant Adam Lambert as a judge next season now that Jennifer Lopez won’t be returning.

E! is reporting that according to a source;

“They have been talking about Adam for over a month. He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges’ comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him.”

I never really even considered Adam before as a judge, and while I think he would be great I’m not sure he has the star power to draw people in. Especially since The X-Factor has Britney Spears, I think American Idol might need a bigger name than Adam. What do you think?
