We don’t hear much about ‘The Hangover’ star Bradley Cooper, but he’s been busy! In addition to shooting ‘Hit & Run,’ Bradley stars in the upcoming movie ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ with ‘The Hunger Games’ star Jennifer Lawrence. Robert DeNiro has a role in the movie, too. This is quite a cast for a movie that we’re only just now hearing about!

It sounds like ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ takes a humorous yet poignant look at mental illness. I love movies that “laugh through the pain,” so to speak. Does this look good to you? It’s scheduled to be released November 12, 2012.

Well that was QUICK! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have reached a divorce settlement, according to Katie’s attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, who told People:

“The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.”

Katie and Tom also released a joint statement, saying:

“We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri’s best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.”

Although no details on the settlement have been released, it reportedly provides for Suri to live with Katie in New York and to give Tom “generous visitation.” We don’t know how legal custody was decided. I’m glad Tom and Katie were able to reach a settlement without a nasty courtroom battle!

Lots of baby news this morning! Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper reportedly are expecting their second child. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation, a source said:

“[Lily and Sam are] over the moon. [Lily] has started telling her friends, and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her.”

When Lily started receiving congratulatory messages on twitter, she didn’t confirm the news of her pregnancy but did tweet:

Thank you for all your congratulations today. I honestly couldn’t be happier. such an honour to be on the list !‪#Timestop50tweeters‬

Well, we’ll know one way or the other soon enough. If the news is true, then congratulations! They already have an eight month old daughter, Ethel Mary, so Lily is expanding her family quickly.

Kim Kardashian shared her joy over the arrival of her new niece, Penelope Scotland Disick, on twitter. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick welcomed their second child, a baby girl, last night in LA. Kim tweeted:

Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick! Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter on Sunday and the whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can’t wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world. Congratulations Kourtney and Scott. Xo

Given how high profile the Kardashians are, I’m shocked we didn’t have even an inkling Kourtney was in labor! I bet the entire Kardashian clan was at the hospital to support Kourtney and welcome the newest member of their family, which is so great. Congratulations!

We saw pictures of Angelina Jolie arriving in Sarajevo with Shiloh and Pax for the 18th Sarajevo Film Festival. And yep, she was there because she received an award for her directorial debut, ‘In The Land of Blood and Honey.’ It sounds like this project meant a lot to Angelina: I’m glad she was able to ultimately make the film happen and see it up on the big screen!

I’m not sure if ‘In The Land of Blood and Honey’ was released in the United States. I’ll have to check and see if it’s available on Netflix. This film looks INTENSE, though: I’ll need to make sure I have kleenex on hand!

Former ‘Spice Girl‘ Mel C reportedly has split from her boyfriend of 10 years, Thomas Starr. The couple have a three-year-old daughter, Scarlet. Mel’s spokesperson confirmed the split to The Sun newspaper. This is rather surprising news: just a few weeks ago, Mel C said she wanted more children with Thomas.

“I’d love to have more! I definitely like to have at least one more but yeah you never know what life holds so that’s something I’m hoping for in the future.”

Yet she was also clear that she had no interest in getting married. When last asked if she and Thomas planned to get married she said:

“Nope, no change there. We’re very happy the way that we are. We have talked about it but we’re cool, we’re happy where we are.”

It’s too bad they couldn’t work things out since they have a daughter, but ten years is a long time. Maybe they’ll reunite.
