Jennifer Lopez knows what it feels like to be in the middle of a high profile split! At this time last year, she and Marc Anthony announced their split. Yet Jennifer admitted she was as surprised as everyone else when Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise. She shared her reaction:

“I heard about it when I was in South America and I was stunned. I’m sad for them. They’re both really lovely people, and just like Marc and I, it’s not what you want to happen. You fight and you try until you realize you can’t anymore.

 

“I just wish them peace in their decision. And really for Suri and their other children as well, because you become such a family, it’s not just Suri, it’s Connor and Isabella and everybody, you know, you all become a family . . . And when that breaks apart, nobody wins; everybody’s heartbroken in some way. And I just wish them peace.”

I’m sure Jennifer can empathize: from her split with P. Diddy to Ben Affleck and then Marc, she knows the drill. She’s being very nice, staying neutral. That’s the best you can do in situations like this. These situations are so awkward for mutual friends!

Katie Holmes is keeping Suri busy with plenty of activities! Katie’s been seen taking Suri  to gymnastics and the zoo. They’ve also been doing more low-key things like grocery shopping and enjoying ice cream treats. Katie has refused to let her divorce from Tom Cruise slow her and Suri down one iota!

Katie’s also been enjoying a little bit of the nightlife. She hit the town the other night rocking black leather pants and a white blazer. I’m still panting over the blazer- LOL. Katie’s said to be prepping to start filming a movie about a single mother called ‘Molly,’ so she needs to enjoy her time with Suri while she can.

Before I get into this, I have to start off by saying that WOW Madonna sure does a good job of hiding her kids from the media during the school year because I swear the last time I saw pictures of her son David he was still a toddler! And now he looks like a big boy already for the 2nd grade. I can’t believe how much he’s grown.

The Material Mom took her son to see the “We Are Revolution” play in Paris, France on Friday afternoon. The chart topper is in the French capital along with her family while she’s on a city stop for her world tour. It’s great to see Madge spend quality and individual time with her kids. I wonder if she picked up that parenting tip from Brad and Angelina? You always see both parents, and especially Brad, spending time with one child at a time which I think is great.

The ‘Twilight’ books are known for NOT being raunchy, but the final novel, ‘Breaking Dawn,’ did include hot sex between Bella and Edward once they got married. Kristen Stewart explained at Comic Con the sex scenes for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2‘ were even more difficult than the ones for ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1.’

“[It's] a tricky thing. We’re supposed to have mind-boggling, otherworldly… sex,” she said with a laugh. “In the first one, Breaking Dawn 1, we tried to keep the first one sweet. It’s about self-discovery. Nothing about this series is raunchy.

 

“In the second one, we just wanted to be animals. We’re not human anymore. How do you do that? We tried, and they told us it was rated R, and we were like [snaps fingers]. So, yeah, I’m going to stop.”

I’ve BEEN ready for ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ even without this news- LOL. I’m curious about seeing the conclusion for the ‘Twilight’ series, although part of me doesn’t want it to end. What big romance will I have to look forward to once ‘Twilight’ is done? I don’t even want to think about it!

Anne Hathaway shocked us all when she cut off her long locks for her role in ‘Les Miserables.’ Anne says she did it because it was what her character did, but she had some second thoughts afterwards. Oops- it was too late by then! Anne confessed she became extremely upset once she fully realized what she had done.

“I wasn’t expecting it to be a big deal. It was my idea to do it, since it was something the character did… [But then] I realized I couldn’t take it back. [I was] a mental patient level of crying… I was inconsolable.”

We’ve all been there: made that drastic hair change only to have second thoughts afterwards! It took some getting used to, seeing Anne with her pixie haircut, but now I think she looks adorable. Anne said getting that haircut was harder than her Catwoman stunts, though. I can imagine!

Justin Bieber is being sued for $9.2 million for ear damage that allegedly occurred at one of his concerts. Stacey Wilson Betts took her daughter to one of his concerts in 2010, and she alleges it was so noisy she’s been suffering from hearing loss, severe tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hyperacusis (oversensitivity to sound) in both ears ever since, according to E! News. Stacy claimed an “unforseen aspect” of the show led to a blast that ”exceeded safe decibel levels” in court papers. And the unforseen aspect was…

“[Bieber] climbed into a heart shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled out over the crowd,” creating a “wave like effect of screaming” that “enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion,” Betts said in the documents.

“Due to the negligence of Justin Bieber,” as well as that of the promoters and sound engineers who are “responsible to maintain safe decibels at all times during their events,” that steel gondola acted as “a sound conductor,” creating a “sound blast” that permanently damaged both of Betts’ ears…

OUCH. Of course, Justin isn’t the only one named in the lawsuit: the concert promoters, Justin’s label, etc, are all named as defendants. Do you think this complaint is valid or just an attempt to get some money?
