‘The Life of Pi‘ is one of those classic novels I’ve always heard was good, have on my (virtually infinite) reading list, but have never gotten around to. Now director Ang Lee has adapted ‘The Life of Pi’ for the big screen. I honestly have no clue what the movie is about, even after watching this trailer. It looks like it’s about a boy and his “pet” tiger?
I’m not sure if they’re shipwrecked on an island or what. The way it looks after the storm makes me think of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in the sense that everything changed to technicolor. Yet the boy and the tiger are also out at sea. So I don’t know. Maybe I’ll “cheat” and watch the movie before I read the book. What do you think?
