Is Ali Lohan Moving To South Korea To Concentrate On Modeling?

This might be the best move a Lohan has made in a really, really long time. Rumor has it that Linday Lohan‘s little sister Ali Lohan might be moving to South Korea to get away from all the Hollywood drama that is surrounding her family to concentrate on her modeling career instead. Here’s what TMZ has to say about it:
According to our sources … 18-year-old Ali Lohan will spend the next 30 days or soliving in Korea (South, not North) with a group of 3-4 other Americans in a “model house” as they all try to book gigs in the Asian market.
Sources close to Lohan tell TMZ … Ali had no issues with peacing out of the U.S. for a few weeks — she’ll now be an entire ocean away from Dina — and told friends she’ll keep in touch via Skype.
Her family said goodbye last week with a sendoff dinner in NYC (below) … but LiLo couldn’t make it because she’s too busy shooting “The Canyons” with that porn star guy.
Actually, we think this is a fantastic idea and it might give Ali the space and time she needs to carve out her own career without distractions coming from her family. Kudos to Ali for going after her dream – and staying clean while doing it.

The word is in. She’s modeling for Tasse Tasse and has done a TV interview reported by news.nate and by Chosun. That’s probably just one of the projects she’s doing in Seoul. While I don’t think she’s there to get away from family I think not being around Lindsay and having to play second fiddle to her may help people see she has a very developed personality and style of her own and, as you said, is a clean, sober young woman.
