And the rumors surrounding the Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders affair continue! Yesterday we got word that Robert Pattinson was seeking solace at Reese Witherspoon’s Ojai abode and that Kristen might even be pregnant. But now, it seems like the story is taking another surprising turn.

According to Hollywood Life, Kristen was starting to distance herself from Rob at recent events. Although the pair never overdid the PDA on the red carpet, sources claim that there was “something missing between” the two.

“Talking with friends, who saw Kristen and Robert [Pattinson] at events, it seemed like Kristen had started to pull away,” said Amanda Dyar (an extra in ‘Breaking Dawn: Part I’) to Us Weekly. “It just looked like something was missing between them.”

While Rob’s obviously “heartbroken” over Kristen’s indiscretion, I think we’ll get a better idea of where the two stand come Sept. 6. The costars-turned-couple are set to present at the MTV Video Music Awards before they embark on a press tour for the final Twilight film.
