Lady Gaga isn’t letting MTV’s VMA snub (she received NO nominations for the VMAs this year) get her down! She tweeted a picture of herself with the words “Art Pop” tattooed on her arm. Here’s the message Lady Gaga tweeted along with it:

So do you think Lady Gaga’s new album will be called ‘Art Pop’? I think that’s a good guess, although we won’t know for sure until there’s an official announcement. Are you ready for a new Lady Gaga album?

Robert Pattinson will have to come back into the public eye to promote his new film, ‘Cosmopolis,’ and he’s taking steps to ensure Kristen Stewart can’t use it as an opportunity to see him. Kristen is not welcome at the August 13 ‘Cosmopolis’ premiere in New York City.

“Despite the fact Robert and Kristen have been communicating by cell phone, she will not be at the Cosmopolis New York premiere. Security was briefed and they were told that Kristen is not allowed anywhere near the red carpet or the after party.

“The decision was made because Robert just doesn’t want to see her. There were fears that she could use it as a chance to talk to him in person and that sort of drama is not wanted at the premiere.There’s also the fact that if she did attend, it would distract from the film premiere itself and the movie bosses are not interested in that sort of publicity. It’s going to be Robert’s first public appearance since the scandal broke – and they really want to make it less of a media circus than it already will be.”

It can’t be long before all of the ‘Twilight’ cast has to start promoting the highly anticipated conclusion of ‘The Twilight Saga’ with ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2.’ If this is any indication, it’s going to be seriously awkward.

Did you get to watch Gabby Douglas win the Gold medal in the Gymnast Individual All-Around competition last night? THRILLING! She seemed to be underestimated from the beginning with all the talk about her difficulty handling nerves. Yet I had a good feeling when she was the only member of the women’s gymnastics team who competed in all four rotations during the team competition (and they won the Team Gold!) My heart broke for World Champion Jordyn Wieber, but I’m thrilled for Gabby. So was Beyonce. Here’s what Beyonce wrote on her website:

Will Ferrell is busy promoting his new film, ‘The Campaign.’ It looks like it’s a spoof on politics (not really political ideas in the sense of being liberal or conservative but just a spoof of the campaign process). Will has cleverly side-stepped talking politics by talking about one of the biggest media stories out there right now: Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson. Here’s some of what Will had to say when he went on Conan O’Brien:

“What they had was so special. You don’t even know what they had. They were in love, and she just threw it all away… I just don’t know if there was anything I could have done to prevent it. And I don’t know what it means to the Twilight franchise. I just don’t know… [Kristen] is a tramp-ire. That’s what she is.”

OUCH! Of course Will is just joking, and I have to admit, it’s pretty funny- LOL. Conan can barely keep a straight face.

Celebrities here and in London have fun when they organize their bachelorette parties! British event planner Chillisauce gathered some pretty funny pictures of celebrity bachelorette parties. Kim Kardashian and Jordan (aka Katie) Price (the British equivalent of Kim Kardashian, I understand) both opted for “princess” themes for their bachelorette parties.

Katy Perry went even more glittery than normal with a miniature top hat that had the same shiny reflection of a disco ball, a colorful polka-dot dress, and an entourage of Cirque Du Soleil castmembers! Rihanna was on hand to help her celebrate: as you can see in the gallery, she was still in her clown-red hair stage.

Vanessa Minnnillo was tame in comparison with her Hawaiian hula themed party. She’s even pretty covered up: it was her guests who showed some skin in their little purple bikinis! And while we don’t follow her here much in the US, I couldn’t resist the pictures of Kerry Katona, a British media personality and singer. For her sister’s bachelorette party (across the pond they call them “hen parties”), they dressed up “Chicago style.” When Kerry renewed her vows to her husband (vow renewal apparently is an opportunity for a new bachelorette party in Britain- we should do that here, too!), she opted for a nun-themed party! For those of you planning a bachelorette party (or just planning in advance), what type of theme would you like? And for those of you who had one, what did you do?
