A young Brooke Shields caused some waves back in the day when she became the spokeswoman for Calvin Klein. The infamous tagline was: “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins.” Some people thought it was a little risque for young Brooke- LOL. Now Foster Grant has signed on Brooke to become their new ambassador. Brooke appreciates their well-known tagline, saying:

“‘Who’s That Behind Those Foster Grants?’ is one of the most iconic tag lines of all time.”

Foster Grant is trying to get people to buy over-the-counter reading glasses again. I don’t see the problem: they’re A LOT less pricey than prescription glasses! A Foster Grant spokesperson explained:

“People are very reluctant to put on over-the-counter glasses. But in the last five years, they have become more of a fashion product than they have ever been. Brooke, who is in her mid-to-late forties, will help us get over the stigma.”

I’m sure she will! Now if only all of us could look half as good as Brooke wearing the glasses: then they’d become a fashion statement!
