Singer Pink is the new COVERGIRL! She’s going to dare every woman to kick convention to the curb and take more beauty chances. Pink is beauty with an edge: what a great choice! Pink doesn’t conform to traditional beauty standards, which is what makes her such a beauty icon. Pink can fully focus on her role as she finishes her new album, ‘The Truth About Love.’

Have you been following the controversy surrounding Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas? Gabby says after she won, she googled herself (something she’s probably going to learn NOT to do!) What did Gabby find after her historic win? Criticism of her HAIR, of all things!

“I don’t know where this is coming from. What’s wrong with my hair? I’m like, ‘I just made history and people are focused on my hair?’ It can be bald or short, it doesn’t matter about (my) hair.”

I completely agree. When you’re an athlete competing in the Olympics, the only goal with your hair is to keep it Out Of Your Way! Gabby said she’s not going to focus on her hair, either.

“Nothing is going to change. I’m going to wear my hair like this during beam and bar finals. You might as well just stop talking about it. I don’t think people should be worried about that. We’re all champions and we’re all winners. I just say that it’s kind of a stupid and crazy thought to think about my hair.”

GO Gabby! Can’t WAIT to see her compete in some of the individual events tonight and tomorrow night.

I think it’s safe to say Elton John and Madonna never “made up” after the Golden Globes. Elton didn’t take it well when Madonna beat out his partner, David Furnish, at the Golden Globes. When Madonna was preparing to perform at the Super Bowl, Elton took another jab, advising her to “lip synch good.” Now Elton’s at it again, calling Madonna “a nightmare.”

“Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger (expletive). If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. She looks like a (effing) fairground stripper.”

OUCH. Mean, Elton. Madonna’s always taken the high road when it comes to Elton. I wonder if she’ll continue to do so?

Miley Cyrus opened up to Marie Claire about her surprise engagement to Liam Hemsworth and her wedding plans. In short: don’t hold your breath for wedding pics because it doesn’t sound like the wedding will occur anytime soon. What does Miley have to say to people who argue 19 is too young to get engaged?

“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with. I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.”

Is this sounding familiar? From Jessica Biel to Kristen Bell, the latest Hollywood move seems to be getting engaged without actually making it official. Miley said Liam’s proposal was a “complete surprise,” and she had no say about her engagement ring.

“I had no input. We’d been kind of talking about getting engaged . . . I saw it online at one point and thought it was really pretty. I just love that it’s old and has a story. And I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.”

Well, as long as Miley and Liam are happy, what else matters?

Pamela Anderson is one of the stars come back for another shot at the disco ball for the upcoming season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ All Stars Edition this fall. Pamela made it to the seventh week of competition in 2010. What’s her strategy for trying to win it all this time?

“I’ve sworn off men until November. [And I'm going to] rehearse a lot more and try to stay out of trouble because I’m a self-sabotager.”

Pamela also admitted she didn’t make much use of social media outlets like Facebook and twitter.

“Last time I didn’t ask a lot of people to vote for me.”

This time, though, she’s enlisting the help of her teen sons, Brandon Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, to drum up votes. Smart move on Pamela’s part!

It looks like Ben Stiller is enjoying his Hawaiian getaway! On Aug. 5, the paps spotted The Watch star having some fun in the sun on the island of Kauai.

While Ben paddle boarded in the Pacific for a bit, wife Christine Taylor took some photos on the beach as their kids Ella and Quinlin watched on.

I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii and after seeing these pics of the Stiller family vacay, I’m this-close to booking my flight!
