Forbes has come out with another one of their lists: The World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couples. Beyonce and Jay-Z are #1, up from the #2 spot they held last year (Tom Brady and Gisele were #1 in 2011). Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly earned a combined $78 million in the financial year ending May 1.

Beyonce earned $40 million alone from her sponsorship deals, ’4′ album sales, and royalties from her back catalogue. Goodness! Jay-Z was close behind with his $38 million from his own album, ‘Watch the Throne,’ and his tour with Kanye West, as well as his ‘Decoded’ book sales and his business interests.

Tom and Gisele dropped to the second spot this year with a combined earnings of $72 million. Victoria and David Beckham came in at #3 with $54 million. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were #4 with $45 million, while Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith rounded out the top five at #5 with combined earnings of $40 million. I’m sure none of these couples are upset about their places on the list. Good for them!

I’m not sure about this story, but here it is: the newly single Katie Holmes reportedly is employing a confidence coach to help her cope with her abrupt divorce from Tom Cruise. A source told Britian’s Grazia magazine:

“Finally free from Tom, Katie is keen to find her own voice. So she has sought professional help and has employed a confidence coach who she’s been seeing once a week to help her regain who she once was.”

Although Katie’s the one who initiated the split, “insiders” say she’s having trouble sleeping because of all she has on her mind right now.

“The glow and radiance that defined Katie post-split seem to have evaporated. She won’t have anticipated that she would suffer from a complete lack of self-confidence, and what it would actually feel like not being Mrs. Tom Cruise. It’s like she’s struggling to regain her own identity while balancing work, motherhood and keeping Suri grounded. With so much on her mind, it’s hardly surprising that she’s not sleeping for more than five hours a night. She doesn’t regret what she did – far from it. But she’s found it harder to carry as normal these past few weeks.”

Now contrast this with a story Radar Online is running, which claims that Katie has “no regrets” and is “blissfully happy” since leaving Tom. Since Katie is the one who wanted to end the marriage, and planned it so carefully, I’m thinking this story is “fiction.” I can see her having to make an adjustment, but she’s taken charge of her life so decisively, I doubt she’s struggling like this. Aerin Lauder is the granddaughter of the iconic Estee Lauder. From what she tells Town & Country, it seems like Aerin is very much following in her grandmother’s footsteps! She talked about her grandmother and her new fragrance, Aerin, in the September issue of Town & Country.

Aerin on her sense of style: ”I’ve always liked simple. Growing up I wore corduroys and Lacoste shirts, Maraolo flats, and maybe one gold bracelet. My grandmother (Estee) gave me a credit card to Ann Taylor when I was 15, and I went and got cream-colored turtlenecks.”

On “Aerin” – the brand: ”I’ve been in this business for so many years, and the question of what’s inside your makeup bag always came up. It became what’s in your closet, what’s on your desk, your dressing table.” Aerin sees her role as being curator of the collection she calls “mistake proof makeup” and as a friend and editor to the women who will buy it. She envisions it as a palette of beauty essentials that will help women feel “confident and pretty while balancing work, family, and home.”

Ronald Lauder on his daughter and famous mother, Estee: ”I’m very proud of Aerin, and I believe that however proud I am, Estee would have been twice as proud. She was almost the same age as Aerin when she started and I know that with Aerin’s knowledge in cosmetics and her fabulous sense of style and taste, her new line will be just as successful as her grandmother’s line was when she started almost 60 years ago.”

Like fellow celeb Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt is also earning his “cool dad” points. This time, Brad’s done it by giving Maddox an 11-year-old boy’s dream gift: a motor bike (Suzuki DRZ-125). Brad’s reportedly gone all out, based on what this source told The Sun:

“Brad’s always been a generous dad and as Maddox has shown a keen interest in bikes, he thought he may as well get him started. He was down at the house the other week and got the builders to dig him a muddy trail all through the woods and around the lake.

“Brad was just as excited as Maddox about it, though – he’s put in little jumps and puddles so they’ll get really muddy. The bike has an automatic clutch and, of course, Brad’s bought him his own helmet and protective gear.

“Brad took him into the garage and there the bike was with a bow on it. Maddox was over the moon and couldn’t wait to try it out. He was riding it around all day at the house, tearing up the lawn.”

Poor Angelina Jolie: if I were her, I’d be having heart palpitations, regardless of the protective gear! Of course, this probably makes it that much cooler to Maddox- LOL.

Tom Cruise is earning some serious “cool dad” points with Suri! Tom took Suri to Disney World for vacation. For one evening, they spent the night in Cinderella’s castle. This suite cannot be booked by guests for any amount of money: Disney decides who stays there. Lucky for Suri, Tom was able to get Disney’s permission.

The suite is designed to resemble a 17th century bedchamber features a 600lb antique limestone fireplace which uses fiber optics to create a fire with glowing embers, 8ft tall headboards displaying C for Cinderella and a painting of the Disney princesses that magically transforms into a television. The bedchamber leads to a private sitting room where there are stained glass windows telling the story of Cinderella, while the garden themed bathroom boasts a night sky full of twinkling stars.

It also has a private elevator and 24-hour concierge. What a treat! I bet Suri had a ball. Previous guests to stay there include Kevin and Danielle Jonas, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary there in 2010.

And let the swooning begin in 3, 2, 1! On Aug. 6, Olympic medalists Ryan Lochte and Nathan Adrian rocked the red carpet at Speedo’s soiree inside London’s Rooftop Gardens nightclub. After chatting with the press for a bit, the swimming studs posed for a few pics before they headed into the UK hot spot.

I’ll admit it, I’ve been nursing a serious crush on Ryan since the summer games started. But after seeing these pics of the oh-so-yummy Nathan, I think my heart now belongs to TWO Olympians! ;]
