Most people in London are probably focused on the Olympics, but not Mischa Barton. See, Mischa’s busy making the final preparations to open her new store! It will be her flagship store, and it will be in London. It will carry “vintage inspired” beauty and fashion products as well as her handbag line.

I hope Mischa opens one here in the United States: I’d like to check it out! It’s too bad Mischa wasn’t able to open before the Olympics started. She probably would’ve benefitted from all the tourists in the city. Well, I’m sure Mischa will do well regardless.

Summit Entertainment, the studio behind ‘The Twilight Saga’ movies, made it clear there would be no changes to the release of the final movie in franchise, ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2,’ despite the scandal involving the two stars. Now the director is speaking out about the Kristen Stewart – Robert Pattinson romantic drama to Entertainment Weekly (Kristen and Robert are on next week’s cover as their ‘Twilight’ characters Bella and Edward- awkward much?).

“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that. Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”

I agree with the director, but, let’s be honest. The promotional tour for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ is guaranteed to be FULL of awkward moments. I don’t envy either Kristen or Robert for the next couple of months ahead. We’ll get some sense of how Robert is going to handle things: he has two interviews scheduled for next week to promote his movie ‘Cosmopolis.’ He’ll be on ‘The Daily Show’ on Monday and then ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday.

Clearly, Michael Phelps is making plans for his post-swimming career. He’s got the new girlfriend. But he may already be considering his next competition. Only, instead of going for gold, is he ready to go for the glittering disco ball awarded on ‘Dancing with the Stars‘? Michael wouldn’t be the first Olympic athlete to do it: Natalie Coughlin, Apolo Anton Ohno, and Shawn Johnson have all done it.

“I haven’t really been known for my dancing. I know everyone who’s done it — I’ve talked to Apolo and Natalie about it, and they said they’ve enjoyed it and had a blast. I won’t say I’m ruling anything out, who knows?”

If he could choose another Olympian, rather than one of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pros, as his partner, who would it be? Fellow swimmer Natalie.

“She’s gone through it all before and Natalie and I have been on a lot of teams together. She literally couldn’t stop talking about how much fun the show was.”

For right now, though, it sounds like Michael just wants to get some R&R.

“The biggest thing is being able to relax. I want to be on my own time and waking up in the morning thinking ‘I wanna go here’ and then just getting up and doing it. It’s kinda cool that I’ll have that freedom. It’s kinda cool just not having anything to do.”

Michael’s certainly earned it! It would be fun to see him on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ though. What do you think?

Jennifer Garner gave birth to her third child, Samuel, with Ben Affleck only five months ago. Yet she admits Ben is already ready for another baby!

“The fact that Ben wants another [baby] is true. I can tell you that would be a pretty uphill battle with me. I am not anticipating having any more kids!”

Jennifer said it’s “been absolute chaos” since she had Samuel (who joined older sisters Violet and Seraphina). I don’t blame Jennifer for feeling this way, especially so soon after having a baby. Ben needs to practice patience- LOL.
