Kanye West announced (via twitter) that Kim Kardashian was the inspiration for his new song, ‘Perfect B*tch,’ according to TMZ (the tweet was later deleted). Kim Kardashian isn’t denying it to friends, though, saying she considers it a compliment. Kim reportedly is saying:

“I’m honored.  I love it,” adding, “I know he doesn’t mean it in a negative way when he says the word ‘b*tch.’

“The song talks about how he was with so many other girls but could never find the right one until he met me.”

Okay. I know a lot of music is demeaning towards women, but it seems like by the time you’re over 25 or so, it would stop being a compliment to be referred to that way! Oh, Kim. Surely, with all the words in the English language, Kanye could find another one to use in reference to you (or any woman, for that matter)?

If Clint Eastwood’s in a movie, you can count on it being a high-quality one! ‘Trouble with the Curve’ doesn’t appear to be an exception. It has a great cast: in addition to Clint there’s ‘Man of Steel‘ and ‘The Master‘ star Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, and Matthew Lillard. Clint’s not directing this one, though.

Yet this trailer still looks great! It doesn’t look like you have to be a baseball fan to appreciate it, either. Justin and Amy especially seem to do a great job. Does this look interesting to you?

Jordin Sparks is showing off her slimmed down figure on the cover of the September issue of REDBOOK! Doesn’t she look great? Jordin opened up with REDBOOK about working with her ‘Sparkle‘ co-star, the late Whitney Houston, and her own weight loss.

On working with Whitney Houston on ‘Sparkle’: “For me, she took on the mother role because my parents weren’t there [during filming]. She was always asking: Did I feel comfortable? Did I need anything?”

On Whitney’s struggles with addiction: “I can only talk about what I experienced. I do think there is a different aura around the film now. I think there was some skepticism before. And there are certainly some themes in the movie that everyone would have wanted to ask Whitney about like, ‘Did you relate your own life to this part,’ which I’m sure she would have answered honestly. The cool thing about Whitney was that she was not scared to talk about or confront the things she had gone through.”

On how Whitney’s death puts ‘Sparkle’ in a new light: “I get so overwhelmed because its my first film, and for my first film to be so deep and heavy…I got to work with one of my idols and sing with her, and she even played my mother. I don’t know if anything will ever be as good as this. Sometimes I ask myself, Why did I deserve to have a part in a film like this? I don’t want this to come off crazy, but somebody said to me, ‘It’s like Whitney essentially passed the torch.’ And to hear that, it’s just nuts.”

On her recent weight loss: “My whole journey has been about self-acceptance. There’s no quick or magical way to lose weight. You just have to do it the natural way—diet and exercise and stick to it—and be able to do it at your own pace. Everyone has their own thing.”

Kristin Cavallari has started her new role: mom! She and Jay Cutler welcomed a baby boy this morning (so Jay’s teammate really did spill the beans!) Kristin announced the happy news on twitter.

We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world. He was born this morning weighing 7lbs 9oz. Everyone is doing great!

Camden Jack- I like that name! I can’t help but think back to Kristin when she was on ‘Laguna Beach’ and then ‘The Hills.’ Now she’s a mom- goodness. Congratulations!

The September issue of Harper’s Bazaar has more than some gorgeous “pretty in pink” pictures of Gwen Stefani. It also includes some never-before-seen images of designer Karl Lagerfeld with his Parisian feline, Choupette. Here are some excerpts from Karl’s Q&A:

Tell me about her eating habits: “She does in the kitchen and sits in front of the food. She doesn’t like to eat on the floor, so I have to put the food on the table. Her dishes are by Goyard. She has one for water, one for her little croquette, and one for her pate. You have to serve everything, and she makes a choice.”

When asked if Choupette scratches or has claws: “Yes, the doctor does her manicure. She hates when we do it ourselves. The only time she makes a scandal is then.”

Does she meow a lot, or is she a purrer? “No, no no – everything is done with the eyes. She knows exactly what she wants.”

The real estate market isn’t tight for everyone. Nicole Kidman reportedly sold one of her homes in New York for $16 million. It was a 3,785-square-foot condo at 176 Perry Street in the West Village with views over the Hudson River. Hugh Jackman was one of her neighbors, and Jim Carrey is said to have considered buying a condo in the building as well.

Nicole has another apartment in New York City, though, so she still has a place to stay. Yet she and Keith Urban also reportedly bought a third apartment in the Sydney building where they stay when in Australia, suggesting Nicole and Keith may be planning to make Australia their home base. It makes sense, since they’re both Aussies!
