Selena Gomez acted like your typical teenager today by enjoying  a girls day out with her friend.  The duo hit the California Pizza Kitchen for some lunch in Tarzana before heading out to a local nail salon to get a mani/pedi.  Sounds like a fun day!

Selena has been very busy lately with her film projects.  She wrapped up shooting Spring Breakers at the beginning of the summer and now she’s shooting both ‘Feed the Dog‘ and ‘Parental Guidance’.  Plus she still needs to make time to spend with her fave popstar Justin Bieber.  I like that she managed to take a bit of time to spend with her friend today though! Young girls need to hang out with their friends!

Katie Holmes is definitely enjoying the end of summer with daughter Suri Cruise.  After the beginning of the season that saw Katie blindsiding Tom Cruise with a divorce filing it seems that both Katie and Tom are trying to make life get back to normal for Suri.  Just last week Katie took Suri to Ohio to spend time with her family while before that Tom enjoyed some quality time with his daughter in Disney World.

Today Katie was spotted taking Suri to a NYC bakery for a treat after spending the afternoon at the Make Meaning Activity Center.  I wonder if Katie will put Suri in public school this year (or at least a private school) or will she be home-schooled still?  It’s almost time to go back to school and I think Suri would certainly benefit from the social aspect of school. She might even meet a few friends her own age!

Oh my! Colin Farrell looks totally yummy today doesn’t he? The actor, who has been super busy lately promoting his latest film Total Recall is back in LA and decided to stock up on some groceries at Gelson’s Market today.  The actor looks just as hot in jeans and a tank top as he does walking the red carpet in a suit.  Maybe more so:)

I know that Colin was busy promoting Total Recall but I haven’t heard much buzz about it since it’s official opening weekend.  In fact I haven’t heard many good reviews about the movie at all.  Did you get a chance to go see it? What did you think?

I had no idea Mariah Carey had a role in the upcoming movie The Butler but she was spotted on set today looking pretty but casual in a strapless brown dress.  The singer/actress was all smiles as she stopped to greet some fans on her way back to her trailer between filming scenes.

Mariah is a busy lady lately with this new project as well as getting ready to film American Idol.  I know that there has been lots of talk about the next possible judge on AI with rumours today circulating that Nicki Minaj might be the next judge, but Mimi tweeted out a picture today of her with Lenny Kravitz with the caption;

What’s going on? need the info!! What about this combo? : ) if we could ever get him to do it!

Looks like Mariah has her own idea of who she wants as the next AI judge! I love the idea of Lenny on the show. What do you think?

It looks like it’s another busy day at LAX Airport with celebrity sightings! Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker and her children were spotted arriving at the airport to catch a flight out of Los Angeles, Calif. on Monday afternoon.

I recently read that despite playing a pot dealer on the hugely popular Showtime show, Mary Louise has admitted to never smoking pot in her life. Wow, whatever happened to researching your role, right? LOL.

It just seems like the Chris Brown and Rihanna love confusion (yes, confusion) she refuses to die. Thanks Oprah! Usually after three years you kind of get over a break-up with a boyfriend, but I guess since everyone keeps on asking Rihanna about it, she just can’t stop talking about Chris Brown. And now apparently it’s gotten Chris worked up so much that he actually wants to get back together with his old love.

Rihanna’s emotional August 19th Oprah interview made Chris Brown realize that they’re meant to be together! The 23-year-old singer texted Rihanna after he watched her cry on national television and apologized and confessed his love to her.

“Afterwards he got some water and was like ‘you know I love her and we’re going to get back [together] one day.’ After that, he sent her a text and thanked her for respecting him on the interview and he told her we was sorry for everything and that he loves her,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

First of all, I would really like to know who this source is? Didn’t Chris say he is totally happy in his new relationship with his new girlfriend? What do you guys think, should Chris and Rihanna get back together or should they just quit this and finally call it a day?
