Gwyneth Paltrow Says She Looks Better Now At 40 Than She Did At 39

Now, before people start throwing Gwyneth Paltrow a little shade and side eye again for her most recent comments about her appearance, I have to say that I understand what she means when she says she thinks she looks better now than when she was 24. She’s a mother of two children, Apple (8) and Moses (6), and mothers tend to take care of themselves better than before when they didn’t have children. I’m really careful about what I eat because I want my kids to eat the same thing and I work out more because well, age kind of creeps up on you and I want to set a good example to my kids (while trying to get away from them for about an hour a day, too). Gwyneth recently had this to say about herself:
“I like being older. It’s nice to really know yourself and feel relaxed. And I actually think I look better now than I did when I was 24, so I’m very comfortable with myself.”
And to be honest with you, I think she’s right. Love her or hate her, you have to admit that she does take good care of herself with her healthy-living and organic lifestyle. I know that she can be a bit annoying with the way she talks about it, but no one’s perfect, right? What do you guys think?

Gwyneth Paltrow actually turns 40 in September, so the headline is incorrect. But, I totally respect what she’s saying about looking and feeling better now. I feel that way too!
