Kanye West Might Be The Next “American Idol” Judge

Oh, would this be awesome. And I mean, really, totally awesome. Rumor has it that Kanye Westis in serious talks to be the next “American Idol” judge alongside Mariah Carey. It’s like our prayers have been answered! Could you imagine these two divas and their egos on one television show? It is going to be ratings gold, people.
The rapper is “negotiating with producers” on the hit singing competition, according to TMZ. That said, nothing has been confirmed about how serious or advanced the reported talks between West and “American Idol” are.
But either way, I really hope this happens. With both Mariah and Kanye and their antics on one show, no one is even going to talk about Britney Spears on “The X Factor.” Sorry, I still love Britney, but I just think it was rather low for Simon Cowell to purposely bring her on the show to boost ratings even though it’s clearly not the best idea as Britney isn’t stable emotionally. She’s just not ready to be in the spotlight and ridiculed again by the public. This would really blow Simon and all of the other shows out of the water if Kanye joined Idol. FINGERS CROSSED!
