‘Very Good Girls‘ star Dakota Fanning is enjoying the end of her summer. Dakota was seen leaving a restaurant after having lunch with her mother and some friends. I don’t know if she ate a big lunch or not, but Dakota then got moving! She was seen leaving the gym later that afternoon.

Dakota seems to be one of the most grounded stars in Hollywood. I hope she stays that way! Can’t wait to see her in ‘Very Good Girls.’ I wonder if Dakota has been in touch with Kristen Stewart since the cheating scandal broke (they starred in ‘The Runaway’ together, and Dakota had a part in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’).

‘The Paperboy‘ star Matthew McConaughey headed out solo in New York City. Matthew then had an experience many New Yorkers are all too familiar with: he had trouble getting a cab! Sometimes, trying to get a cab in New York City is about as easy as finding a needle in a haystack.

Matthew was good natured about it. He flashed a smile for the paparazzi as he continued his efforts to flag down a cab. Matthew was probably about ready to be back home in Austin, Texas, at that moment- LOL.

We’re seeing a lot of celebs hit the shops today: they must be getting their fall wardrobes together! Here’s Diane Kruger. Diane was seen leaving James Perse in West Hollywood. Seeing how Diane is carrying those two large bags, she obviously saw things she liked!

Diane has to enjoy her time off while she can. She’s been cast in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book, ‘The Host.’ ‘The Host’ was a best seller just like Stephenie’s ‘Twilight’ books, so this role could move Diane’s career to the next level. I think Diane is more prepared for fame than the ‘Twilight’ stars were, so it shouldn’t be quite as much of an adjustment. And I can’t get enough of pictures of Diane with her long-time boyfriend, Joshua Jackson!

Kim Kardashian pampered herself as the kick-off to her weekend yesterday. Here’s the reality TV personality treating herself to a mani-pedi yesterday in Beverly Hills. Kim looks very low-key in her loose clothes. I bet her outfit was super-comfortable!

Have you been watching ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ this season? I haven’t had a chance to watch it, but I hear Kanye West is in it a fair amount, more than her ex, Reggie Bush, ever was. Is this true?

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte returned to LA. He must be returning from New York after spending the past weekend in Las Vegas. Luckily, Ryan was able to dodge a bullet by not spending too much time with Prince Harry. He avoided getting caught up in a game of strip pool in Vegas- LOL. Ryan must be back to focus on setting up something in reality TV. That seems to be where he’s heading.

Personally, if Ryan decides to do reality TV, I hope he does ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Being a single guy in his twenties, he probably wouldn’t have any problems doing ‘The Bachelor.’ If Ryan did his own reality TV show, wouldn’t it be interesting to watch behind the scenes with competitive swimming? I’m not sure if that’s a TV show, though. That might be a better documentary. What would you like to see Ryan do?

Rihanna may have been dining solo for the past two nights, but she isn’t alone all the time! Here’s the singer doing some shopping with a friend. I’m glad to see Rihanna isn’t isolating herself. I have to admit, I’ve been a little worried about Rihanna ever since watching her interview on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter.’ She just seemed so… vulnerable.

One picture I keep waiting to see is one of Rihanna hanging out with her supposed BFF Katy Perry. We see plenty of pictures of each of them out all the time but never together. I hope they haven’t had a falling out. Maybe they make it a point to meet up in private, away from the paparazzi cameras.
