Reality star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi might have just given birth to her first child just yesterday but that doesn’t mean she’s taking time off from Twitter!  In fact the new mom announced her baby son Lorenzo’s arrival on the social media site and has been updating her followers with news about her and her new son.  Today Snooki decided to tweet about how she’s feeling one day post childbirth saying;

Post birth isn’t so comfy and glamorous. But my son is FABULOUS. ✌

Poor Snooki, the first week post baby definitely isn’t comfy at all, but I’m willing to bet she’s so in love with her little boy that she can hardly notice.  I think it’s cute that she and her fiance Jionni are tweeting so much during they’re first few days being parents.  Snooki then went on to retweet one of Jionni’s posts saying;

Omg. I love you. “@JLaValle: Idk what I enjoy more, watching my fiancé sleep or watching my son sleep?…Both are amazing!#Lafamiglia”

I’m looking forward to seeing the first pictures of little Lorenzo! I have a feeling Snooki will be tweeting out a lot of shots soon enough. I’m assuming she’s trying to sell the first photos (if she hasn’t already) but once they’re posted I bet we’ll be seeing a lot of Lorenzo on Twitter.

Whoa I didn’t see this one coming!  The Sun newspaper is reporting that Russell Brand and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell are a couple now, ever since spending time together while rehearsing for The Olympics!  I guess Russell has a thing for pop superstars!  A friend of Russell’s said that;

“Things are getting very serious between them – they’re a proper couple now. They had met several times in the past but really got to know each other during the Olympics.

“People thought Russell was joking at the time when he said he had a crush on Geri all over again, but it was true.

“They just clicked – they have so much in common. He is spending so much time in London just to be with her.”

Russell was previously linked to Jordana Brewster’s sister Isabella, but I guess she’s out of the picture now.  This seems like such an odd pairing to me, but then again Russell and Katie Perry seemed like an odd pairing to me too.  As long as they’re happy I guess that’s all that matters.  What do you think of this pairing?

Jessica Alba was seen out shopping at the Jenni Kayne store in Beverly Hills today sporting beautiful blonde tresses instead of her usual warm brown colour.  Jess isn’t trying to see if blondes do in fact have more fun though, she’s changed her hair colour for her role in the upcoming sequel to Sin City.   Jessica will reprise her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in the movie that is set for a 2013 release.

Jessica hasn’t been acting so much lately since the birth of her second daughter Haven and since she launched ‘The Honest Company’ so its nice to see that she’s got some big screen projects lined up as well.  What do you think of Jessica’s new lighter locks? I think it looks great!

Ladies, what do you think?!   The very handsome Jake Gyllenhaal was seen arriving at The Ed Sullivan Theatre today to visit with David Letterman and he was sporting some very prominent facial hair! This isn’t even a case of some well groomed stubble either, Jake has a full on beard now!

The actor was visiting Letterman to promote his upcoming movie End of Watch as well as his role on Broadway in If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet.  I’m assuming the facial hair is for his role in the stage production because he plays a drifter with the mouth of a sailer, and the facial hair kind of helps him look the part don’t you think?  I’m not sad that the play only has a 13 week run, hopefully we’ll see Jake clean shaven soon enough!

Chart topper Rihanna was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London, England on Monday afternoon. And of course it wouldn’t be a proper Rihanna sighting without her having to wear something shocking and controversial, right? The singer wore a sweater that clearly displayed a figure engaging in one of her favorite recreational activities… or at least that’s what we think!

Still, Rihanna looked rather happy and relaxed despite her long flight as she had a big smile on her face when the paparazzi greeted her in one of the airport’s terminals. Milla Jovovich has made it no secret that she was a wild child back in her day. But now that she’s a mom, she’s of course tamed her partying ways and is trying her best to be a great mother to her 4-year-old daughter, Ever (that’s quite the name in Hollywood these days, isn’t it?). The Hollywood actress recently opened up to Canada’s Flare Magazine and here’s what she says on her past, being a mom now and what she hopes for the future:

On her daughter: “I definitely want to keep [Ever] as dependant as any young girl her age—which is relative, but I have a picture in my head of what that should be.”

On her mother: “I would always hear her whispering in my ear, ‘I’ll kill myself if anything happens to you!’” Jovovich says, laughing. “So, I kind of knew when to say no; when not to continue the party, because I whole-heartedly believed that if anything had happened to me my mom would have killed herself.” … “I still put her through hell,” she says. “She didn’t know that in my head I knew when to stop. I tell her, ‘My God, it could have been so much worse!’”

On immigrating to America with her mother: “We’re definitely fighters. My mom and I are survivors. We came to America with nothing, and built everything from the ground up.” She describes her mother as strict and her childhood as shaped by discipline and hard work. “I wasn’t raised just to be a pretty girl, or somebody’s wife.”
