Oh, this is not good news. Heidi Klum and Seal shocked us all by abruptly announcing they were divorcing. After Seal gave some interviews about it (the announcement came right before a previously planned publicity tour for his new album), things got quiet on that front. Now Radar Online claims things are getting more contentious with Heidi and Seal’s divorce.

First, Seal has responded to Heidi’s request for primary physical custody of their four kids with a request for joint physical custody. This means the kids would split their time evenly between their parents. Second, Seal is contesting Heidi’s claim that there are no shared marital assets. While Seal reportedly is worth $15 million, Heidi’s said to be worth $70 million. It sounds like there is no prenup. Oh, boy.

The two also had a disagreement over Seal’s use of pictures of their kids for an ad campaign for Leica digital camera without Heidi’s permission. Heidi had an attorney demand the pictures be taken down, and the company complied. An insider explained:

“Heidi isn’t trying to cause trouble,” revealed the friend, explaining that Heidi has always tried hard to keep her children out of the spotlight. “She’s just trying to protect her brood. Since she filed for divorce from Seal, he’s been out with more than one young woman, whereas Heidi hasn’t dated at all.”

Hopefully Heidi and Seal will find a way to keep things as amicable as possible for their kids’ sakes!
