I really hate saying it, but sometimes it feels like we live in a rather cruel world, doesn’t it? According to Olympic Gold medalist and America’s sweetheart Gabby Douglas, one of her old coaches told her to get a nose job to help boost her appearance. Can you believe the nerve of that guy?
In a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Gabby says at a party several years ago, an Excalibur staff member at her old gym in West Virginia suggested she consider reconstructive surgery on her nose, claiming it appeared too flat — and other gymnasts had teased the future champ’s appearance, she says. Gabby called the nose job comment “very hurtful.”
I’m sure a lot of you out there can agree with me that Gabby is beautiful just the way she is. I mean, how many people do you know have the same million dollar smile as her?
