TMZ reports the last original judge from ‘American Idol,’ Randy Jackson, will no longer be a judge for the show. (NOOOOO! Okay, I had to just get that out.) Instead, Randy will be a mentor to the contestants. Producers reportedly are concerned about Randy’s ability to be a mentor, but they want him to stay with the show because he’s the only original judge left.

Nicki Minaj’s deal to join ‘American Idol’ as a judge is “99% done.” ‘American Idol’ producers are said to love the fact that Mariah Carey doesn’t want her at the table. They think the tension will make for more dramatic television. CRAZY! ‘American Idol’ does plan to have four judges, so the hunt is still on for two more judges. Neither Kanye West nor P. Diddy are still being considered, however. This new season of ‘American Idol’ is shaping up to be VERY different, if nothing else!

I’ve noticed that LeAnn Rimes seems to get into a lot of twitter disagreements- mostly from people who are still upset about her relationship with Eddie Cibrian (both were married- to other people- went they first became involved). It sounds like things went WAY too far, though, when LeAnn actually spoke to one of her critics on the phone. This is probably what led LeAnn to seek treatment. Yet she’s also suing over the phone conversation.

LeAnn spoke to a woman identified as Kimberly Smiley. Kimberly taped the phone conversation (allegedly without LeAnn’s consent). Afterwards, Kimberly and her daughter,  Lexi, then posted excerpts of the phone call on the internet. LeAnn’s lawyer alleges Kimberly and Lexi:

“conspired to spitefully ensure that out-of-context excerpts of that recording would be disseminated to the public on various websites. . . in an effort to portray Ms. Rimes in an egregious false and negative light and cause her emotional distress.”

Furthermore, LeAnn claims she is the victim of an “increasingly aggressive internet campaign by supporters of her husband Eddie Cibrian’s first wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.”

Kimberly reportedly has spoken to Radar Online about the lawsuit.

“People that LeAnn know have threatened me multiple times, telling me that they’re going to come to my work and say bad things about me. I’m a teacher, why would they come to my work?” Kimberly asked.

Kimberly said that when LeAnn called her she was constantly swearing and raising her voice. “Her words shocked me and scared me on that call. I was afraid because she was getting so angry. It shocked me and scared me.”

Kimberly described the unexpected phone conversation she had with LeAnn in March saying, “She was trying to bully me back then and she is now. LeAnn wants me to like her and she was mad because I won’t. I do not like her. What would give her any clue that I was going to like her just because she called me?

My daughter is so upset about this and I don’t like to see her upset. But honestly, what does LeAnn want from us? We don’t have anything for her to take.”

It sounds like LeAnn is cracking under the stress of the ongoing negative publicity she’s received ever since becoming involved with Eddie. Isn’t there anyone to advise her on how to handle this or will LeAnn just not listen? I don’t understand how things ever got THIS far. Radar Online also reports Eddie wants LeAnn OFF twitter. I don’t blame him! Hopefully LeAnn receives good treatment and learns how to deal with this whole fiasco better.

If this Us Weekly story is true, then maybe things aren’t going so well on the ‘Glee‘ set? A source claims Kate Hudson (who’s in the middle of filming a six episode arc) doesn’t think too highly of Lea Michele, calling her “a total diva.”

“Kate says Lea is a nightmare. Once, during a technical delay, Lea snapped her fingers and said, ‘Let’s go. I have plans!’ Kate’s keeping her distance.”

Kate reportedly has a good time hanging out with the rest of the ‘Glee’ cast. I have to say, this isn’t the first unflattering thing I’ve heard about Lea. Lea’s rep told Us Weekly:

“Lea has had a great time with Kate.”

Maybe Lea will learn something from seeing how Kate is on set. Kate is a Hollywood veteran, after all! (Assuming this story is even true.)

Kelly Osbourne has been sporting an extra swing in her step these days. And to tell you the truth, I think that boyfriend Matthew Mosshart has a little something to do with it! On Aug. 30, the doting duo caught a flight out of LAX. After collecting their bags, Kelly and her main man made their way through the terminal.

Like a few other celebs, Kelly and Matt are also getting out of town for Labor Day weekend. But with Fashion Week and the Emmy Awards right around the corner, Kelly’s getaway with Matt may be a quick one since she has some fashion-filled duties to attend to!

Nothing like a little Hollywood hotness to brighten your morning. How about you kick off your weekend with some smokin’ hot pics of Twilight cutie Taylor Lautner! On Thursday night, the screen stud grabbed a bite at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood. After he finished dinner, Taylor made his way outside and headed to his car nearby.

I know Twilight fans are pretty bummed that they won’t be seeing Taylor at the conventions this year. But on the bright side, he’ll be back on the big screen again super soon!

Another day, another afternoon workout for Emily Blunt. On Aug. 30, the screen siren left a West Hollywood gym after working on her fitness for a bit. After walking past the photogs, Emily climbed into her Prius and drove away.

From the looks of these pics, it seems like Emily lightened her locks. With a few films in the works, I wonder if she had to dye her hair for a role? No matter the reason, I think that she looks fab with her new blonde ‘do!
