Jessica Alba and Honor both got their hair done at the Andy LeCompte Salon in LA yesterday afternoon. They got to enjoy some fun mother – daughter bonding! It looks like Jessica went back to her dark roots after her brief stint as a blonde. I thought Jessica went blonde for a role: she couldn’t possibly be done shooting that fast! Maybe it was just for a photoshoot or something.

Regardless, after getting their hair done, I’m sure Jessica and Honor were ready to have fun this holiday weekend! It was probably fun for Honor to get some individual time with her mom, too. It won’t be long before Haven is old enough to make trips to the salons with them.

Tom Cruise had a relaxed dinner with friends in Hvar Hvar, Croatia last night. There were a lot of reports that Tom was shocked by Katie Holmes’ divorce filing, and he’s reportedly still trying to figure out what happened. If those stories are true, then it looks like Tom is coping well. I can’t imagine dealing with the shock of a divorce period, and to have it all happen in the public eye must magnify everything by 10!

It’s good to see Tom has supportive friends around him. I don’t know if he’s in Croatia filming ‘Oblivion’ or a new movie, but it’s probably good for him to be able to focus on work right now.

Taylor Swift stepped out solo in Tribeca yesterday afternoon. Talk about an outfit of contradictions: a big bulky jacket with short-shorts! Taylor looks as great as always, though.

There was no sign of her boyfriend, Conor Kennedy. Most college kids are heading to school this weekend: I wonder if Conor is starting college this year? It would probably be an interesting experience for Taylor to visit a college campus- LOL. It’s all part of dating a younger man at her age!

Jessica Biel arrived at LAX. I’m guessing she’s returning home from the European promotional tour for ‘Total Recall.’ It’s probably a relief for Jessica to be home again!

After Jessica rests up, I wonder if she’ll focus on planning her wedding? From all of her talk about how she’s too busy and not great about planning things, it sounds like Jessica needs a wedding plan STAT! Contrary to rumors, Jessica and Justin have not tied the knot yet. If I were her, I’d at least start looking at some bridal magazines. That’s the fun part.

Kate Bosworth knows how to kick off a holiday weekend! Kate was seen ONA Spa and nail salon in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon. I’m sure she left there relaxed and ready to have fun with boyfriend (and rumored fiance) Michael Polish this Labor Day weekend.

I’m a fan of Kate’s summer dress. Last spring, I spent a lot of time looking for a casual dress that I could wear during the summer. Unfortunately, I had no luck finding one. What Kate’s wearing would have been perfect!

‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ star Patrick Dempsey is hot in his own right, no question about that. Yet, is there anything hotter than a father spending time with his kids? That’s what really got me to select these pictures for a post!

Patrick spent the day with his family at the fair in Malibu yesterday. That’s one of his twins he’s carrying on his shoulders. I remember him posing with his twins on the cover of People right after they were born! Time really does fly.
