Reality TV personalities may be considered celebrities (and stars by some) in their own right but not by everyone! Reality TV titan Kim Kardashian recently said in an interview that she would like a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after hearing reality TV personalities were not eligible. That’s NOT gonna happen, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. A spokesperson said:

“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc. in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures. They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”

Kim’s guest stint on ‘Drop Dead Diva’ and role in a Tyler Perry movie don’t cut it. Do you think Kim should get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

Whatever you think of Sean Penn personally, no one argues about his acting ability. Sean is considered one of the great actors in Hollywood right now. I bet Sean’s new movie, ‘This Must Be The Place,’ will only cement his reputation in that regard. Here’s a new trailer.

I’ve NEVER seen Sean like this! Could he look any more like an aging rocker? And Sean’s a vulnerable aging rocker to boot. ‘This Must Be The Place’ will be released on November 9. Does it look interesting to you? If I don’t catch it in the theater, it’s definitely going in my Netflix queue.

Have you heard about Vanity Fair’s explosive story for their October issue? Vanity Fair writer Maureen Orth claims Scientology recruits girlfriends, including Tom Cruise’s ex-wife Katie Holmes, for Tom to date. Maureen claims actress Nazanin Boniadi dated Tom for three months before he began seeing Katie. The story reports Nazanin had to sign multiple confidentiality agreements and even underwent daily sessions to “purge herself of negative thoughts about Tom.”

Tom’s rep spoke out about the Vanity Fair cover story.

“Lies in a different font are still lies — designed to sell magazines.”

I’m surprised Vanity Fair did this story. Does this make the claims more credible to you?

Hmmm… maybe things aren’t quite over between Katy Perry and John Mayer? John and Katy reportedly hung out together at FYF Fest in LA last night, according to OK! magazine. They stayed in the VIP section, “stealing kisses,” according to eyewitnesses.

Some fans even posted pictures of Katy and John on twitter and Instagram. I can understand the fans’ excitement but taking pictures and posting them on the internet? It’s a bit much. However, it looks like Katy and John may still be “exploring things.” Time will tell…

Russell Crowe and a friend went kayaking yesterday. They went kayaking off of New York’s Long Island but lost their way. By 10 pm Russell and his friend were lost, so they just made their way to the shore. Then Russell saw the US Coast Guard and called out to them. The Coast Guard pulled them and their kayaks to Huntington Harbor. The Coast Guard told People it wasn’t really a rescue, per se.

“Really, more of just giving someone a lift.”

Russell tweeted early this morning:

Luckily, Russell and his friend weren’t injured. Kayaking is fun, but I’m surprised Russell was doing it. He’s in New York filming ‘Noah.’ I’d think he’d have enough of the water on-set!

Heidi Klum had no comment about Seal’s “fornicating with the help“ comments for the paparazzi who spotted her arriving at LAX for a flight. Yet people close to her are talking. Heidi reportedly has told close friends Seal went after her fortune (she’s said to be worth $70 million to his $15 million) “out of anger and jealousy,” according to what TMZ was told. Seal did this even though they had a post-nuptial agreement.

We’re told Seal has since backed off his financial demands, but Heidi is telling friends, it’s all part of Seal’s M.O. — to lash out when he’s pissed.  The anger, Heidi says, is why their marriage fell apart.

Heidi is telling her confidantes … Seal’s interview with TMZ… was aggressively designed to hurt and embarrass her. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ although Seal is publicly trashing his estranged wife, he would take her back in a second.

Having seen the video of Seal’s comments to TMZ, it did seem like he was implying Heidi cheated on him with the bodyguard. It also did seem like an impulsive statement. Hopefully things calm down between Heidi and Seal for their kids’ sakes.
