It certainly looks like Katy Perry and John Mayer are giving things another try! Katy and John were spotted at FYF Fest in LA over the holiday weekend. Then TMZ caught up with them leaving The Little Door restaurant after having dinner last night.

TMZ called this a “romantic dinner.” I don’t know if it was romantic or just a friends thing, but Katy and John wouldn’t be the first couple to have a couple of “starts and stops.” I have to say, though, I hope Katy is being cautious. John has quite a track record, dating-wise!

This is NOT the ‘Hansel & Gretel’ fairytale for kids! ‘The Bourne Legacy‘ star Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star in ‘Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters,’ but it’s kind of like a sequel to the fairytale. This is Hansel and Gretel when they’re grown up. They became some tough adults!

In this movie, Hansel and Gretel grow up to become witch hunters. Only this time, it looks like they’ve been tasked to hunt something worse than a witch. I’ll have to think about this one: it looks a little too violent and gory for my taste. Then again, I’m really intrigued by the idea of an adult Hansel and Gretel! What do you think?

Oh, Jessica, many of us moms FEEL your pain! Jessica Simpson admitted to USA Today her body isn’t bouncing back like she thought it would after she gave birth. Jessica’s getting ready to make her debut as a celebrity spokeswoman for Weight Watchers.

“I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to be happy and eat what I wanted. I didn’t realize it (the weight) didn’t all come off with the baby.”

Yeah, Jessica, many moms definitely know your pain! Jessica declined to reveal her post-baby weight, although she said when she did the nude cover for Elle magazine last April, she was 170. She said she doesn’t have a goal weight: Weight Watchers just wants her to be healthy (at 5’4″, a healthy weight range would be 117 – 146).

Jessica also declined to reveal how much weight she’s lost, although she said she’s lost weight every week. Jessica’s watching her diet. She’s doing 60 minutes of cardio a day, which is mostly walking, explaining “My boobs are way too big to run at this point. I’m just walking.”

I can’t IMAGINE having to lose my baby weight with the world watching but earning $3 million for it probably lessens the sting somewhat. I bet Jessica will look great. Go Jessica!

Is Russell Brand falling into his old ways? Russell recently moved from Isabella Brewster to old friend Geri Halliwell. Then, when hanging out in Suffolk, Southeast England, Russell was seen on a romantic date with another woman. Russell reportedly referred to the woman as “my beloved Amy.”

A friend said Russell and Amy had known each other “very well for a long time.” Russell and Amy arrived at the Angel Hotel in Bury, St. Edmunds, on Monday evening. The two were spotted enjoying a romantic picnic before checking into the hotel. However, Geri may not be surprised to hear this news. A source said the two had agreed to a “cooling off period.”

“Geri was smitten but things have petered out a tad. He isn’t ready to settle down so soon after coming out of marriage, whereas Geri is probably more ready to have a relationship. She wants a [new home] and spent Saturday (9/1/12) dragging Russell around properties near Devon. It probably seemed a little much. Russell is a huge flirt and Geri won’t stand for any nonsense – her friends are telling her not to get serious about him.”

I think Geri has some smart friends! I understand Russell not wanting to get serious again so fast: that actually seems like a smart move to me. As long as he’s being honest with everyone, what’s the problem?

I’m still excited over the news Jillian Michaels is returning to ‘The Biggest Loser’! Jillian’s life has changed considerably since she left ‘The Biggest Loser,’ and she opened up to REDBOOK about some of those changes. Jillian also shares some other interesting tidbits. I couldn’t believe what she had to say about working out to her own DVDs- LOL.

On gaining weight after becoming a mom: ”I definitely did. I went to interview Suze Orman for The Insider, and her wife said, ‘You’re chubby!’ And Suze said, ‘You look like a mommy now.’ I look at my body and I go: ‘five pounds heavier.’ But part of me really likes it.

On listening to her own voice when working out to her DVDs: “I haaate it. It’s relentless! I never shut up! And it never stops! I’m working you till you’re out of breath, I give you no break, and I’m screaming at you! I found myself screaming back at the TV, “Shut up!” I had to mute it.

On what she’s learned as a mother: “You can’t have it all, and you have to make some tough decisions. I used to think you could, but you can’t. I didn’t understand that something has to give. Now friends will go to Vegas for the weekend and we’re like, “Take pictures.” When Lu looks at me and goes, “Mama, I love you!” I go, “Fft. Who needs Vegas?”

On her parenting philosophy: ”Kids are accident-prone; they’re going to tumble. As long as I know she’s not going to die or get badly hurt, it’s okay. We’d rather her be adventurous, and fall and get back up, than helicopter around her and make her feel fragile.”

On fostering a healthy body image: “We talk about role models for her, like Beyoncé, who has a more curvaceous figure. My taste has changed. I prefer that look. For now, I want to look a little softer.”

On being open about her relationship with Heidi Rhoades: ”…when we were having kids, I thought, How am I supposed to hide a newborn? So we thought, Let’s talk about it. It wasn’t so much about coming out. It was more about, okay, this is my family.”

On Sept. 4, Princess Kate’s stylish sister headed back to her Midtown hotel after watching a match. Sporting a bold, colorblocking frock, Pippa put her passion for fashion on full display as she made her way inside.

With Fashion Week set to kick off on Thursday, I wonder if Pippa will be sticking around to see some of the spring collections? I’m sure that a bunch of designers would love to have her sitting front row at their shows!
