So what happened between Beyonce and Kim Kardashian that led to them snubbing each other over the Labor Day weekend? According to Radar Online, Beyonce got upset when she thought Kim was trying to upstage her husband, Jay-Z. Director Ron Howard was directing a documentary about Jay-Z over the weekend, and Kim saw an opportunity.

“Kim was desperate for attention in the VIP area and was getting in the way of cameras that were supposed to be filming Jay-Z. She kept saying she was a huge fan of Ron Howard and would do anything to be cast in one of his films, so Kim was using this as an opportunity to impress the movie maverick.

“However, Beyonce wasn’t amused that Kim was using her husband’s documentary to audition for Ron. So, she took Kim to one side and told her that the day wasn’t about her, it was about Jay-Z, his work in organizing the event and there were other celebrities and musicians there that needed coverage too.

“Kim was fuming that the spotlight wasn’t on her – but Ron was there for Jay-Z, not her, and he really didn’t care if she was or wasn’t taking part in any of the filming. Step forward Jay-Z, as gracious as he is, to act as peacemaker. He said to Beyonce that she needs to play nice with Kim because he is pals with Kanye. But the damage was done. Later that night, Kim phoned her mom Kris to complain about the harsh treatment she thought she got at the festival. She just isn’t used to not getting what she wants.”

Oh, what a mess. Do you believe it or do you think this is just a rumor?

LeAnn Rimes said she sought treatment over anxiety that was at least partly fueled by a twitter feud with Brandi Glanville supporters. Now “a friend” tells Us Weekly LeAnn’s anxiety was really fueled by concern about Eddie Cibrian cheating on her.

“LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie. She’s been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She’s been on a downward spiral.”

I’m not sure what “friend” would talk to the media about this, but it makes complete sense to me. I’ve never understood women who cheat with a married man and then marry that man themselves. Then again, I’m a big believer in the saying, “If he cheats with you, he’ll cheat ON you.” Regardless, hopefully LeAnn is finding her treatment helpful.

Katie Holmes continues to expand her career options now that she’s a single woman again. Her latest deal is that she’s the new celebrity face for Bobbi Brown cosmetics! Katie explained what urged her to take on this new venture:

Have you heard about 9/11 Day.org? It’s a day where good deeds unite all of us after the tragedy that occurred on 9/11. This video includes celebrities (Samuel L. Jackson and Kelly Rutherford among them) talking about the day. The idea is to never forget what happened.

I can’t believe it’ll be 11 year this year. It feels like it just happened, honestly. I plan on doing something on 9/11. It’s a great idea. How about you?

Keira Knightley is engaged. Of course, this means the ‘Anna Karenina‘ star has to field the inevitable questions about starting a family. Keira does want a family. Eventually.

“People keep trying to make me pregnant! I’m not ready for it. Yes I’d love to at some point but not this quick, stop trying to make me pregnant. I have been asked whether I am pregnant yet about four or five times. And I started thinking, ‘Do I look like I’m pregnant … I’m a very thin girl, I am sure I don’t look pregnant!’ It’s the ring on my finger!”

Demi Lovato got 12 tattoos as an adolescent. Now, at the age of 20, the ‘X Factor‘ judge is having some regrets about all of her ink.

“I’ve thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don’t know if I want to have rock and roll on my middle finger. I’m young and I can rock it now and when I get older I can worry about it later.” Speaking of one inking, a tattoo of her friend’s lips on her wrist, she added: “It was just a spur of the moment, stupid decision.”

Demi also talked about her 2010 hospitalization. She said it was a relief to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that means I’m not really crazy, there’s a reason.’ And it was just so awesome to be able to pinpoint a diagnosis for the reasons why I was extremely happy and in, like, a euphoric state, and the next month I was in, like, a deep depression. I had everything great in my life I had nothing to complain about but I wasn’t happy.”

I can understand that! Demi even talked about the incident that led to her hospitalization: she got into a fight with one of her backup dancers while on tour.

“I got into a situation in a different country when I actually ended up hitting one of my friends. I was just going through something so dark and I was very, very mentally sick. So, you know, when I ended after leaving the tour my parents had planned an intervention.”

Demi must be doing better to be a judge on ‘X Factor’! It’s great to see her doing well.
