Penn Badgley Is ‘Genuinely Happy’ For Blake Lively

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds shocked us all when they got married in a quiet ceremony after dating for only a year. But before she started dating Reynolds, Blake was in a 3 year relationship with her Gossip Girl co-starPenn Badgley! So what does Penn think of his ex-girlfriend’s surprise wedding?! Well, he’s ‘genuinely happy for her’.
Penn is in Toronto to promote his upcoming film ‘Greetings From Tim Buckley’ and spoke to US Magazine at the movie’s premiere about Blake and Ryan’s nuptials saying;
“I’m happy for her. Genuinely happy.”
Badgley went to say that he wasn’t sure if the marriage was confirmed or not, saying;
on Sunday night. “[People] were like, ‘Hey, did you hear that Blake’s getting married?’ I was like, ‘OK, great!’ ”
“Obviously people are going try to connect us in ways in which we’re not connected anymore. But it’s great. I’m happy for her.”
Penn and Blake seem to have maintained their friendship so I am sure he is truly happy for her. I’m just looking forward to finally seeing some wedding pictures!
